Read Morept. 2 Gallery is pleased to present Zero Player Game, a solo exhibition of paintings by Oakland-based artist Brett Flanigan. The exhibition title is a reference to the mathematician John Horton Conway’s Game of Life, a 1970 mathematical simulation where, given an initial state and a set of simple rules, a black and white grid evolves endlessly in ways that are seemingly organic and operate on similar principles as life itself. Alexandre Bavard can be seen as a playwright, set designer, and performer, all in one. His work expands from fine art sculpture, prints, and paintings into video, music and dance. Bavard creates various worlds influenced by his Georgian roots, science fiction, and for the need of escapism and discovery. Learn more after the jump.

Painting in a process-oriented manner, Kerwick’s style is entirely intuitive, each piece representing a moment of cathartic exploration in mark-making.
Read Morept.2 artist Muzae Sesay recently completed this beautiful mural in Downtown San Francisco in collaboration with MoAD, Society of St. Vincent de Paul-San Francisco, and pt.2 gallery. The mural took a little over 2 weeks to complete and is located at 1175 Howard Street, San Francisco , CA 94103. Learn more after the jump.
